2023 Vespa GTS: What’s new?

The new 2023 Vespa GTS retains the signature Vespa design and look. However, the mirrors, mudguard, and front apron undergo a slight redesign on the facelifted Vespa GTS. Buyers now get the option of 14 new colours on the new Vespa. Some colours are variant-specific while others are standard across all models.

Apart from design tweaks to the body, Piaggio has also updated the seat and front suspension on the new Vespa. The new suspension offers better comfort and stability. Other features include a keyless system to activate ignition and a remote seat opening function. The remote key can also help locate the scooter in a crowded parking lot using the Bike Finder feature. The Vespa GTS Supersport and Supertech get smartphone connectivity as well. The GTS Supertech variant will get a 4.3.-inch full-colour TFT display while the other variants will get a 3-inch analog LCD display.

Moving to the mechanical aspect, the 2023 Vespa GTS comes in two engine options. The 125 i-GET and the 300 HPE are the two engine units on offer, with the latter offering a maximum power output of 23hp which Vespa claims is its most powerful yet. Both engines are fuel-injected, single-cylinder, and liquid-cooled.
