2022 TVS iQube Electric Scooter Launched: With 3 New Variants, 10 Colour Options And More

TVS Motor Company has launched today three new variants of its iQube electric scooter. The 2022 TVS iQube EV lineup now2022 tvs iqube offers 3 new variants and 10 colour options for its customers to choose from. Out of the three newcomers, namely TVS iQube, iQube S and iQube ST, bookings for the former two commence from today onwards while the iQube ST model can be pre-booked. Pre-bookings for the scooter are now open in 52 new cities, apart from the 33 existing ones. 

The choice between the three new TVS iQube electric scooter variants is provided based on colours, range, storage and connectivity features. The base model and its mid-spec S trim both offer a range of 100kms with a top speed of 78kmph while the iQube ST range is 140km with a top speed of 82kmph. 

The base model is offered in 3 colours, namely Pearl White, Titanium Grey Glossy and Shining Red whereas the mid-spec TVS iQube S offers 4 colour options, namely Mercury Grey Glossy, Mint Blue, Lucid Yellow and Copper Bronze Glossy.

Coming to the top-spec TVS iQube ST model, it offers 4 colour options, namely Copper Bronze Matte, Coral Sand Glossy, Titanium Grey Matte and Starlight Blue Glossy. The 2022 TVS iQube Electric accelerates from 0 to 40kmph in a claimed 4.2 seconds. It is powered by a 2 Li-ion battery pack which is packed in high strength aluminium extrusion casing. 

The battery pack has an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. The scooter comes with a silent, hub-mounted motor that delivers a peak output of 4.4kW with zero loss in transmission, as claimed by the company.

The electric scooter offers multiple charging options, including a 650W, 950W and a 1.5kW charger. Coming to the tech features it comes equipped with, the all-new 2022 TVS iQube Electric offers SmartXonnect connectivity as standard across all its variants. Its base model gets a 5-inch coloured TFT instrument cluster. The S trim gets a 7-inch display with HMI interaction while the top-spec ST trim gets an additional touchscreen function over it. 

Additionally, it offers live vehicle tracking, crash alert, geofencing and anti-theft alert as safety features. Other highlighted features include proactive diagnosis, TPMS, service alert, navigation assist, regen braking and music player. 

The 2022 TVS iQube on-road price in India starts from Rs 98,564 (Delhi).
