BMW M4 Competition M xDrive launched in India

The new BMW M4 Competition M xDrive has been launched in India at Rs 1.53 crore. The luxury coupe is imported to India as a Completely Built-up (CBU) unit. Back in January, BMW had revealed the new M4 facelift. The Competition M xDrive version of the coupe gets some important upgrades on the exterior and the cabin. BMW is currently accepting bookings for the coupe.

BMW M4 Competition M xDrive: What’s new?

The vertical kidney grille on the BMW M4 Competition M xDrive coupe features horizontally arranged double slats. The front and rear aprons of the coupe get new attachments as well. The adaptive LED headlights ensure illumination even while cornering. The roof rails are finished in carbon fibre while the brake callipers get a blue finish. A red finish option for the brake callipers is also available. Buyers can also opt for an M Carbon exterior package which includes inserts for the front air intakes, rear diffuser, exterior mirror caps, and a CFP rear spoiler.

Inside, the BMW M4 Competition M xDrive features the three-spoke M leather steering wheel. This steering wheel has a flat bottom, a red 12 o’clock marker, and carbon fibre accents. Buyers can also go for the M Alcantara steering wheel. The new infotainment system runs the Operating System 8.5. It is voice-activated. The seats are electrically adjustable and feature active ventilation.

Powering the BMW M4 Competition M xDrive is the 3.0-litre S58 six-cylinder in-line petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 530hp and 650Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission. The luxury coupe can go from 0-100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds.
