New spy shots of the Hyundai Creta facelift confirm the presence of a new digital instrument cluster that seems to be borrowed from the Alcazar. The steering also gets the new two-spoke design which made its debut on the Verna facelift earlier this year. Hyundai will retain the 10.25-inch infotainment system on the Creta facelift from the outgoing model. No changes have been made to the positioning of the physical control knobs either. The highlight feature of the SUV will certainly be an ADAS package and a 360-degree camera.
The exterior design of the Hyundai Creta facelift follows the same design philosophy as recent Hyundai offerings like Exter, Santa Fe, and Palisade. The LED headlamps and tail lamps follow the H-shaped design. There are no changes along the sides of the SUV, except a new design for the alloy wheels which will be exclusive to the higher trims.
Under the hood, the Hyundai Creta facelift will add the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine from the Verna to its powertrain options. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 160hp and can be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DCT. The existing 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine units put out 115hp and 116hp respectively.

Prices for the current-gen Hyundai Creta start at Rs 10.87 lakh and go up to Rs 19.20 lakh. Expect the facelifted model to cost a small premium. Hyundai will soon commence the marketing for the SUV, which means more details will be revealed in social media teaser drops. Upon launch, the Creta facelift will rival Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.
