The CNG model of the Tata Tiago shares its interior layout with the petrol model. Its revamped dashboard has a layered structure with a fabric finish on the top panel. It houses two free-floating displays for the touchscreen infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. The exact specifications of these panels will be revealed upon launch. The digital instrument cluster on the driver’s side seems to be an upgrade over the LCD panel on the current model. The physical AC controls get their own panel just below the central AC vents.
The centre console has been updated to meet modern standards, but it comes with the tradeoff of storage space. The new console features a rotary drive selector and two wireless charging pads. The paddleshifters are a new addition to the CNG model. The teaser also reveals the CNG switch. Other features include dual-tone fabric upholstery, push-button start, rear AC vents, a 360-degree camera, USB-C charging for second row passengers, and more.
No changes have been made to the exterior of the Tata Tiago CNG facelift, apart from the addition of the iCNG branding. The updated hatchback gets a new front grille inspired by the Tata Altroz. The new pixel LED headlamps are placed on either side of the grille. These headlamps are integrated with eyebrow DRLs. The reworked bumper houses a large air dam. Along the sides, the 2026 Tiago gets a new design for its alloy wheels along with black wheel arches. At the back, the vertically stacked LED tail lamps are connected by a thick light bar.
No changes have been made under the hood of the Tata Tiago CNG facelift. It sticks with the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine. It generates a maximum power output of 73hp and 96Nm. It can be mated to a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. The hatchback will continue to use dual CNG cylinders to maximise its boot space capacity. The CNG and petrol modes can be switched with the press of a button. In a petrol guide, the 1.2-litre engine pumps out 86hp and 113Nm. It offers a fuel economy of 19km/l. Meanwhile, the manual and AMT CNG variants offer a mileage of 26.49km/l and 28.06km/l, respectively.
