Hyundai Creta facelift: What to expect?
The new Hyundai Creta will receive major design changes. It is expected to follow Exter’s design language. This means the Creta facelift will get an H-shaped design for the LED headlamps. Hyundai will also take inspiration from the Palisade for Creta’s grille. The tail lamps will also be H-shaped. Along the sides, the Creta is expected to get a new design for the alloy wheels.
New changes are expected inside the SUV as well. The Creta facelift will get an ADAS package, improving its safety quotient. While no spy shots of the SUV’s interior have surfaced so far, it is expected to get a new layout for the dashboard and multiple options for the interior theme. More details are expected to be revealed as we get closer to the launch.Â
Under the hood, the Hyundai Creta facelift will retain its current powertrain while also adding the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine which is offered on the Verna. The existing 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine units put out 115hp and 116hp respectively. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit produces a maximum power output of 160hp on the Verna and can be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DCT.Â
