The front fascia of the new Tiago facelift features a polished grille resembling the one on the Altroz hatchback. The LED headlamps are sleeker than the outgoing model. They are integrated with eyebrow LED DRLs. The reworked bumper houses a large air dam. Compared to the previous model, the facelift has a taller and wider stance. Along the sides, the hatchback gets black wheel arches and a new design for the 15-inch alloys. At the back, the LED taillamps are connected by a thick light bar. Tata has added 3 new colour options for the new model – Varanasi Vibrance (exclusive to the ICE model), Pangong Pulse, and Sobo Surge.

Inside, the Tiago facelift gets a major overhaul. The dashboard has been redesigned to feature a layered effect with a fabric finish on top. It houses 2 free-standing displays for the touchscreen infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. The 10.25-inch infotainment screen supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include a 4-speaker sound system, a cooled glove box, a 360-degree camera, cruise control, dual wireless charging pads, and more.

On the safety front, the updated hatchback rocks 6 airbags as standard, ESP with Traction Control, Blind View Monitor, Surround View Display, and more. Tata says the bodyshell has also been strengthened. The Bharat NCAP will be crash testing the hatchback soon.

Things remain the same under the hood, as the Tata Tiago continues to be powered by the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. It generates a maximum power output of 86hp and 113Nm of torque. In a CNG guise, it puts out 73hp and 96Nm. Both powertrains can be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT.
