The new Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 gets a slew of cosmetic and styling updates. The motorbike now sports dual-tone graphics, XTEC 2.0 branding, and a 3D emblem. The dual-textured seating gets a new stitching pattern. The rim tapes look upscaled as well. The motorbike is available in 5 colour options: Candy Blazing Red, Glossy Black, Matt Axis Grey, Matt Nexus Blue, and Matt Chestnut Brown.
When it comes to dimensions, the new Hero Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 remains unchanged. It is 2,034mm long, 740mm/729mm (disc/drum) wide, and 1,082mm tall, with a 1,263mm wheelbase. It clears the ground at 170mm, with its seat height being 788mm.
The motorbike continues to be powered by Hero’s 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It generates a maximum power output of 10hp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers up front and 5-step adjustable telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers with swingarm at the back. The motorbike utilises 240mm disc/130mm drum brakes on the front wheel and 130mm drum brakes at the back.
Hero claims that the 2026 model offers a fuel efficiency of 72km/l, an improvement of 4km/l over the 68km/l offered by its predecessor. This has been made possible by the Advanced Programmed Fuel Injection (AFPI) system and the i3s Idle Stop-Start system. It needs to be mentioned that these technologies were present on the outgoing model as well.
The big feature upgrade on the 2026 Hero Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 is the addition of hazard lights. The motorbike retains the digital instrument cluster of its predecessor. It supports Bluetooth connectivity along with call and SMS alerts. The cluster can display your phone’s battery level. Other features include a real-time mileage indicator, a low fuel warning light, USB Type-C charging, and an engine kill switch on the handlebars.
