2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift Spied Upon: To Receive Numerous New Upgrades

One of the top players in the sub-4m SUV segment, the 2022 Hyundai Venue is all set to return with a fresh facelifted version into the Indian markets. It was recently spotted testing for the first time near Hyundai’s Chennai plant, revealing some of its features, although being heavily camouflaged under its covers. Expected to launch sometime in mid-2022, the all-new facelifted SUV is expected to come with both interior and exterior upgrades and sport a new design language, similar to the latest Hyundai Creta and Hyundai Tucson models.

From its exterior, the revised front grille of the all-new Hyundai Venue facelift 2022 couldn’t stay hidden even though being under covers. It will also be featuring new headlamps, LED DRLs, a restyled front bumper, fog lamps as well as faux skid plates. At its rear, the upgrades that the new SUV will be seen sporting include a new bumper design and split LED taillights. 

Speaking of the interiors of the Hyundai Venue 2022 model, it is expected to receive a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 7-speaker Bose audio system, Android Auto and Apple Carplay connected car tech support and ventilated front seats amongst others. Some features like its single-pane sunroof and TPMS are expected to be carried along to the new facelift version from its current model. Also, the 2022 Hyundai venue is expected to come with enhanced safety features including 6 airbags, vehicle stability management, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, hill hold assist, et. al.

Coming to the mechanical 2022 Hyundai Venue specs, there is no change expected in its powertrain options. The current Venue model comes with a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, a 1.2L petrol engine and a 1.5L turbo-diesel engine. The 1.0L turbo-petrol engine offers 118bhp and 172Nm of torque. The 1.2L petrol engine generates 82hp while the 1.5L turbo-diesel engine generates 99hp and 240Nm of torque. The transmissions options available include a 5-speed manual gearbox, a 6-speed manual, IMT and a dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The 2022 Hyundai Venue price in India is expected to start from Rs 7 lakhs onwards. Upon its launch, the SUV will be seen competing against car models like Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Vitara Brezza and Renault Kiger amongst many others.
