Kia has given its SUVs Kia Sonet and Kia Seltos several cosmetic upgrades and introduced enhanced safety features into them. This move by the Kia brand is thought to have been taken in order to justify the price hikes occurring at the beginning of the new financial year.  The uplifted 2022 Kia Seltos price now ranges from Rs 10.19 to Rs 18.45 lakhs, while the 2022 Kia Sonet price ranges from Rs. 7.15 to 12.39 lakhs.

Amongst the common Kia upgrades, the UVO Connect car tech is now called Kia Connect, which can be seen both on the smartphone application as well as on its infotainment system. Six airbags are no longer exclusive for just the top-spec variants of Sonet and Seltos. All variants get four airbags and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as standard. The Seltos also gets a new logo, similar to Sonet.
