TVS Raider 125 with SmartXonnect and TFT Cluster launched

TVS Motor Company has updated the TVS Raider 125 with a new variant one year after it made its debut in India. Priced at Rs 99,990, this new model will sit at the top of the TVS Raider lineup. It will offer new-age features like a 5-inch TFT cluster and advanced connectivity tech in the form of TVS SmartXonnect. The launch of the new TVS Raider 125 took place in the virtual world of TVS Motoverse, making it the first motorcycle ever to be launched in the metaverse.

TVS Raider 125: What the new variant offers

The inclusion of the 5-inch TFT cluster will equip the TVS Raider 125 with smartphone pairing, allowing you to view your notifications and follow the navigation on the dash. Smartphone connectivity is further enhanced by the TVS SmartXonnect app. This app allows riders to view the riding analytics and help them evaluate their ride and style. On top of that, it also offers voice and navigation assist, incoming call feature, image transfer options and ride reports.

No mechanical changes have been made to the TVS Raider 125. The motorcycle is powered by an oil-cooled 124.8cc single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 11.4hp @ 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 11.2Nm @ 6,000 rpm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed suspension. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and a 5-step adjustable monoshock fork. The TVS Raider offers two ride modes – Power and Eco.

This variant adds to the motorcycle’s charm with a lot more first-in-class connected features including a TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist andmore.With this update, TVS Raider will continue its wicked ride as the preferred choice of GenZ.”

At Rs 99,990, the TVS Raider 125 becomes the most affordable motorcycle in India with a 5-inch TFT cluster. This top variant has been made available in two colour options – black and yellow. The motorcycle rivals the Hero Glamour XTEC. Buyers can expect the prices of TVS Raider 125 to be hiked in the future since the launch price is stated as an introductory offer.
