TVS Motors has launched an updated version of TVS Jupiter Classic at Rs 85,866 to celebrate the “Fastest Five Million Vehicles on Road” milestone. The TVS Jupiter Classic will sit on top of the Jupiter range and will come with new colour options as well as updated features. While there are some cosmetic changes, mechanically, the TVS Jupiter Classic will remain unchanged.

TVS Jupiter Classic: New features, colour options and more
When it comes to cosmetic changes, the TVS Jupiter Classic receives a black theme across the mirror highlights, a fender garnish, a tinted visor, and a 3D black premium logo. The scooter also comes with diamond-cut alloy wheels, and the seats receive a premium leatherette finish and a backrest. To commemorate the milestone, the new TVS Jupiter Classic will also receive a ‘5 million’ badge.
The Jupiter Classic will be made available in two colour options – Mystic Grey and Regal Purple. It also gets features like an engine kill switch, an all-in-one lock, USB charging, and new speedometer dial art. The instrument cluster will display whether the scooter is running in Eco Mode or Power Mode.
Mechanically, things remain untouched as the TVS Jupiter Classic continues to be offered with the 109.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 7.8hp and 8.8Nm peak torque. The scooter is fixed with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks in the front and gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear.

Conclusion
At Rs 85,866, the TVS Jupiter Classic is one of the more expensive scooters around. It costs Rs 2,220 more than the TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect and Rs 10,000 more than its closest rival Honda Activa Premium. Apart from Honda Activa, the TVS Jupiter Classic rivals Hero Pleasure Plus and Hero Maestro Edge 110.
