New TVS Jupiter Classic launched at Rs 85,866

TVS Motors has launched an updated version of TVS Jupiter Classic at Rs 85,866 to celebrate the “Fastest Five Million Vehicles on Road” milestone. The TVS Jupiter Classic will sit on top of the Jupiter range and will come with new colour options as well as updated features. While there are some cosmetic changes, mechanically, the TVS Jupiter Classic will remain unchanged.

When it comes to cosmetic changes, the TVS Jupiter Classic receives a black theme across the mirror highlights, a fender garnish, a tinted visor, and a 3D black premium logo. The scooter also comes with diamond-cut alloy wheels, and the seats receive a premium leatherette finish and a backrest. To commemorate the milestone, the new TVS Jupiter Classic will also receive a ‘5 million’ badge.

The Jupiter Classic will be made available in two colour options – Mystic Grey and Regal Purple. It also gets features like an engine kill switch, an all-in-one lock, USB charging, and new speedometer dial art. The instrument cluster will display whether the scooter is running in Eco Mode or Power Mode.

Mechanically, things remain untouched as the TVS Jupiter Classic continues to be offered with the 109.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 7.8hp and 8.8Nm peak torque. The scooter is fixed with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks in the front and gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear.

Mr Aniruddha Haldar, Senior Vice President (Marketing) Commuters, Corporate Brand & Dealer Transformation, TVS Motor Company, said, “The New TVS Jupiter Classic is contemporised premium classic. This variant celebrates TVS Jupiter achieving the milestone of the “Fastest Five Million Vehicles On Road.” It is the acknowledgement and celebration of the fact that this has been made possible by the unprecedented faith and love millions of consumers have reposed in TVS Jupiter. With the TVS Jupiter Classic we recommit to consistent delivery of the TVS Jupiter Brand promise of ZYADA KA FAYDA.”
