Tata Motors has scrapped the 45kWh battery variants from the Curvv EV’s lineup and introduced a new, 55kWh SeriesX range for the electric crossover. Prices for the Tata Curvv EV SeriesX start at Rs 16.99 lakh and go up to Rs 19.49 lakh. The new range comprises 3 variants – Accomplished X, Empowered X, and Empowered X Dark Edition. The Accomplished X variant undercuts the previous entry-level Creative (45kWh) variant by Rs 50,000.

No cosmetic changes have been made to the Tata Curvv EV SeriesX. The EV retains its crossover profile, minimal design, and clean look. Tata has introduced a new ‘Nitro Crimson’ paint scheme on the new range. The Dark Edition model gets an all-black look.
The entry-level Accomplished X trim is decked with features like dual 10.25-inch displays for the touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree Surround View camera system, R-Comfort seats with passive ventilation, Benecke Kaliko leatherette upholstery, rear sunshades, and more. The premium Empowered X trim gets a larger, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harmon, along with a 9-speaker JBL sound system. Other features include a 6-way adjustable driver seat, active seat ventilation, two-stage reclining rear seats, V2V/V2L charging functionalities, a frunk, a gesture-controlled tailgate, smart animations, and more. There is a Level 2 ADAS package on board with 20 safety functions.
The 55kWh battery pack on the SeriesX variants offers an ARAI-certified driving range of 502km. The single electric motor powering the EV generates a maximum power output of 167hp and 215Nm torque. A 7.2kW AC home charger takes up to 8 hours to fully charge the EV. Meanwhile, a DC fast charger can charge it from 10-80% in 40 minutes.
