On the outside, the Citroen C3 follows the same styling pattern as the C5 Aircross, Citroen’s debut vehicle in India. The C3 sports a split headlamp design, hexagonal air dam, chrome inserts in the grille, roof rails, skid plates, and black plastic claddings. Some of these design elements are seen in the midsize SUV segment.
The C3 gets 15-inch steel wheels with the option of 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels on higher variants. Wrap-around tail lamps can be found at the rear. The C3 is based on the Common Modular Platform, which will also underpin a midsize SUV.
Inside, the Citroen C3 gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, keyless entry, tilt-adjustable steering, and steering mounted controls. The hatchback also receives dual airbags on the front along with a parking sensor.
Under the hood, the Citroen C3 is offered in two engine options – 1.2L Puretech 110 and 1.2L Puretech 82. The former is a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine coupled with a 6-speed transmission, producing a maximum power of 110hp and 190Nm torque. The Puretech 82 is a 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine mated to a 5-speed transmission, producing a maximum power of 82hp and 115Nm torque.
