Maruti Suzuki Alto K10: What’s new?
The new Alto K10 will be a visibly bigger vehicle than its predecessor, the Alto 800. Its dimensions are expected to be 3,530×1,490×1,520mm, resting on a 2,380mm wheelbase. The exterior design is radically different to the Alto 800 as well, with a larger redesigned grille that’s totally blacked out. The wide sweptback headlamps give the Alto K10 a refreshing new look. The front and rear bumpers have received a tweak in design as well.
From the side, the Alto K10 carries forward some of the more traditional Alto design elements. It gets lift-up door handles and a more prominent shoulder line. The rear has been inspired by the Celerio, barring a few design tweaks on the tail lamps and bumper.
Inside, the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 receives a lot of upgrades, bringing it up to modern-day standards. Some of the features include a touchscreen infotainment system, dashboard redesign, window switches on the dashboard, and steering-mounted controls on higher variants. It also gets smartphone connectivity (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), and safety features like ABS, ESP, and dual airbags on the front.

Under the hood, the Alto K10 will sport the 1.0-litre K10C engine, which will soon be made standard on all Maruti hatchbacks. The price of Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will be revealed on the launch date, and it is expected to rival Renault Kwid, Datsun redi-Go, and Maruti Suzuki Celerio.
