Lamborghini Urus Performante: The midcycle refresh gets some mechanical and cosmetic tweaks

The updated Lamborghini Urus Performante sees some design tweaks on the exterior. The front and rear bumpers have been redesigned and the SUV receives a new bonnet with cooling vents up front. The Urus Performante also gets the option of 23-inch alloy wheels. The SUV now weighs 2.150 kg, which is 47 kg lighter than its previous avatar.

Inside, the Lamborghini Urus Performante retains the overall look apart from a few minor changes. The SUV will be made available in a Black Alcantara fabric with the option of leather as well. The ‘Performante’ branding can be found in different parts such as the seats, doors, and roof lining. The seat design has been tweaked as well.

Under the hood, the Lamborghini Urus Performante retains the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. In the facelifted model, this engine produces a maximum power output of 666hp, which is 16hp more than its predecessor. It also offers a peak torque of 850Nm. The Urus Performante can go from 0-100 Kmph in just 3.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 303 Kmph. A coil spring setup replaces the air suspension. This has cost the Urus Performante a ground clearance of 20mm and it also misses three off-road modes – Savia (Sand), Neve (Snow), and Terra (Mud). Instead, the Urus Performante gets a new ‘Rally’ mode.
