Komaki DT 3000 And LY High-Speed Electric Scooters Launched In India

Komaki’s Electric Vehicle Division has launched two new high-speed electric scooters in the Indian markets. The new Komaki DT 3000 and Komaki LY are the third and fourth products in the Delhi-based automaker’s EV portfolio. According to the company, the latter is reportedly the first electric scooter in the country with anti-skid functions. The automaker also claims that the DT 3000 model features a unique battery.

The all-new Komaki DT 3000 is powered by a 3000W BLDC motor, paired with the company’s patented advanced 62V 52Ah Li-ion battery. Its top speed is claimed to reach up to 80kmph. The electric two-wheeler can cover a range of up to 180kms on a single charge. The battery takes about 4 to 5 hours to get fully charged from a standard 15amp wall socket. The scooter is available in 4 colour options, namely Metal Grey, Translucent Blue, Jet Black, and Bright Red.

Speaking of the LY electric scooter, it can cover a range of about 80 to 90kms on a single charge. It is powered by a Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery. Moreover, it gets disc brakes on both front and rear wheels. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic shock absorbers at the front and hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The two-wheeler is available in Garnet Red, Jet Black, and Metal Grey colours.

Coming to their technical features, the two electric scooters come equipped with a self-diagnosis instrument, a mobile charging point, noise-free functioning, reverse assist, cruise control, remote lock, and Bluetooth speakers. 

With the addition of these two electric scooters, Komaki’s portfolio now expands to a total of 18 high-speed EVs. The launches reflect the automaker’s sharp focus on its industry research and development along with enhancing its production capacity. 

The new Komaki DT 3000 price in India starts at Rs 1.22 lakhs and the Komaki LY price starts at Rs 88k onwards.
