The 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system found on the current XUV300 makes way for a larger 10-inch unit on the facelifted model. There is a new unit for the instrument cluster as well. Mahindra has changed the positioning of the AC vents and control knobs to accommodate the larger display. The test unit that was spotted near Nashik had beige upholstery, which isn’t a new development. The steering wheel design remains unchanged as well.

However, the big feature upgrade on the Mahindra XUV300 facelift is the single-pane sunroof. The test module spotted recently was spotted with this sunroof. The higher variants of the SUV could also get a panoramic sunroof. The facelifted model will also get features like ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and a 360-degree camera. Mahindra is planning to make it one of the most feature-rich SUVs in its segment.

More notable changes are found along the exterior of the SUV. The Mahindra XUV300 facelift will follow the design language of Mahindra’s upcoming ‘Born Electric’ series of SUVs. The new XUV300 gets a two-part grille and a larger central air intake unit. The grille is flanked by LED headlamps on either side, which are integrated with new vertically aligned LED DRLs. The bumper and headlamps also get significant design tweaks. At the back, the sleek C-shaped tail lamps are connected by an LED light bar. The number plate has been shifted to the bumper from the tailgate.

Mahindra will introduce a new 6-speed automatic torque converter gearbox for this engine. The 1.2-litre turbo petrol puts out 110hp. The 1.5-litre diesel engine generates a power output of 117hp. These engines get the option of manual and AMT gearboxes.
