Being a Jeep SUV, the Avenger gets the signature 7-slat grille. The grille has been closed off since the Avenger is an EV and has also been branded with an ‘e’ to signify the electric powertrain. The SUV also gets split headlamps with high-mounted DRLs. The tail lamps get an X-shaped design. A faux skid plate can also be found at the rear. There is ample body cladding along the sides of the SUV and the wheel arches are very pronounced. Being 4.08 metres in length, it is the most compact Jeep SUV on offer.
Inside, the Jeep Avenger has a functional design. It boasts 34 litres of interior storage and offers customisation options for the central tunnel. Using a divider, this tunnel can be separated into modular storage packets or the divider can be totally removed to form one large storage compartment. In terms of features, the Jeep Avenger gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity features, ambient lighting, power-adjustable seats with a massage function, and a panoramic sunroof.
Powering the Jeep Avenger is a 400-Volt e-motor that can deliver a maximum power output of 115 kW (156hp) and 260Nm of peak torque. The 54 kWh battery pack offers a maximum driving range of 550 km. With 100 kW DC fast charging, this battery pack can be juiced from 20 to 80% in 5.5 hours.
Introducing the all-new fully electric Jeep Avenger, Eric Laforge, Head of Jeep Brand in Europe, said: “Avenger is the right choice for those looking for a compact, robust, and “cool” car which offers state-of-the-art technology, space and comfort while delivering lots of fun.
