Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus are being offered with discounts worth up to Rs 1.41 lakh and Rs 1.03 lakh respectively. These offers are available for the unsold MY2022 stock as well as the MY2023 units. BS 6 Phase 2 compliant models are also included in the discount.

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.41 lakh

Volkswagen Taigun launched in India starting at Rs 10,49,900

Buyers can avail discounts within the range of Rs 65,000 – Rs 1.41 lakh on the unsold MY2022 units of Volkswagen Taigun. Discounts vary depending on the variant selected. The Comfortline manual variant gets the lowest discount of Rs 65,000 while the Topline manual variant of the Taigun gets the highest discount of Rs 1.41 lakh.

MY2023 units of Volkswagen Taigun get a maximum discount of Rs 91,000. The Topline Automatic variant of the SUV bags the highest discount. BS6 Phase 2 compliant models of the Taigun get up to Rs 40,000 off.

Volkswagen Taigun scored the highest rating possible (five stars) in the Global NCAP tests last year, making it one of the safest SUVs in India. The Taigun is currently available in two engine options. The 1.5-litre TSI engine produces a maximum power of 150hp and 250Nm peak torque. Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre TSI engine produces a maximum power of 115hp and 178Nm peak torque.

Volkswagen Virtus

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.03 lakh

The MY2022 Highline manual variant of the Virtus gets the highest discount of Rs 1.03 lakh. The offer prices vary between variants, with the GT Plus automatic variant getting the lowest discount of Rs 20,000.

MY2023 units of Volkswagen Virtus get discounts in the range of Rs 20,000 – Rs 65,000. For BS6 Phase 2 compliant models, the discounts range from Rs 20,000 to Rs 40,000. The offers are dependent on the variant selected.

The midsize sedan from Volkswagen also comes in two engine configurations. The 1.0-litre TSI Dynamic Line trim produces a maximum power of 113hp and 175Nm of peak torque. The 1.5-litre TSI Performance Line trim produces 148hp and 250Nm torque.
