Tata Motors has launched the 2022 Tigor EV at a starting price of Rs 12.49 lakh. Tata has also refreshed the Tigor EV lineup with two new XT and XZ+ Lux variants. The new Tigor EV comes with a greater driving range and new features. Prices for the Tigor EV go all the way up to 13.75 lakh for the XZ+ Lux variant. Here is the price list for all the variants.

The new Tata Tigor EV boasts a driving range of 315km, an improvement of 9km over the previous version. The 26 kWh battery pack is rated IP67 for dust and water protection. This battery pack can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 60 minutes with a fast charger.
Tata has retained the electric motor on the new Tigor EV from its outgoing model. This motor produces a peak power output of 75hp (55kw) and 170Nm peak torque. The EV can go from 0-60kmph in 5.7 seconds.
Among other updates, the Tigor EV receives some of the features that were previously exclusive to the Nexon EV Max and Nexon EV Prime. Smart enhancements like multi-mode regen, connected car technology- Zconnect, smartwatch connectivity, iTPMS and Tyre Puncture Repair Kit will be offered as standard across the range. Tata Motors is also offering a free feature upgrade pack through a software update for existing Tigor EV owners. Previously, the company had done the same for Nexon EV owners.
Additionally, the existing XZ+ and XZ+ DT customers can also get a Smartwatch connectivity upgrade. This service can be availed by visiting any Tata Motors’ authorized service centre starting 20th December 2022. The 2022 Tigor EV will also feature upgrades like leatherette upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps and cruise control. Tata will also be offering the EV in a new Magnetic Red colour option.
