Tata Altroz: Here’s what the new variants have to offer

The XM (S) variant of Tata Altroz gets an electric sunroof on top of all the features available for the XM variants. Buyers can also choose a bigger touchscreen infotainment display for both XM variants. These variants will also get a height-adjustable driver’s seat, steering-mounted controls, electrically adjustable OVRMs, and a cover for the 16-inch wheels. Tata is also offering remote keyless entry and power windows as standard across all manual petrol variants.

The XM and XM(S) variants of Tata Altroz are only offered with the 1.2-litre petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 86hp and 113Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed manual configuration. The new variants will not get the option of a CNG powertrain. Launched in May, the Tata Altroz CNG produces a maximum power output of 77hp and 97Nm of torque.

Other features on Tata Altroz include a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a voice-controlled electric sunroof, leatherette seats, cruise control, automatic headlamps and more. The CNG model has a gas leak detection feature and a micro switch to ensure the car is switched off while it is being refuelled.
