Tata Altroz facelift: What to expect?
The facelifted model of the Tata Altroz will get a sleeker design for the LED headlamps. The fog lamps will be housed inside a cylindrical cutout. The windscreen wipers will have a frameless design for more aerodynamic movement. The upper grille is expected to be closed off, while the lower grille could be slightly larger. Along the sides, the hatchback will get a new design for its alloy wheels. The rear bumper and LED taillamps will also be reworked.

Inside, the Tata Altroz facelift is expected to stick with the 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system from the current model. This infotainment system supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The dashboard layout is also expected to remain the same. However, the hatchback will get the new four-spoke steering with an illuminated Tata logo. This steering is found in the newer Tata offerings. The hatchback will also be equipped with a powered driver’s seat, IVRM, ventilated seating, ambient lighting, and a dual-pane sunroof.

The Tata Altroz facelift will retain the powertrain of the current-gen model. Currently, the Altroz is the most versatile hatchback in the Indian market as it is available in 3 powertrain options. The 1.2L NA petrol engine can also be paired with a 6-speed DCT.

The sportier Racer variant of the Altroz is also powered by the 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine. However, on the Altroz Racer, this engine puts out a maximum power output of 120hp and 170Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. It is not available with an automatic transmission.
