Nissan Magnite gets a new Geza Edition, priced at Rs 7.39 lakh

The Nissan Magnite lineup in India has been refreshed with a new Geza Edition. This special edition of the compact SUV fetches Rs 7.39. Bookings for the Geza Edition are now open at a token amount of Rs 11,000. It is available in a single variant and comes in five colour options.

Nissan Magnite Gezza Edition: What’s on offer?

According to Nissan, the Gezza Edition is inspired by Japanese theatre and its expressive musical themes. The special edition SUV gets an updated 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This unit is an inch larger than the one on regular Magnite. The Geza Edition also gets a JBL speaker system, ambient lighting, trajectory rear camera, shark fin antenna, and premium beige-coloured seat upholstery. The ambient lighting can be controlled through a phone app. 

As mentioned earlier, the Nissan Magnite Geza Edition is available in only one variant. It remains mechanically unchanged and is powered by the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that can churn out a maximum power output of 72hp and 96Nm of torque. This unit comes paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The turbo petrol engine is not available with this edition.

Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India commented on the introduction, saying, “The Big, Bold, Beautiful Nissan Magnite is a game changer with its unmatched value, high safety ranking and low cost of maintenance. We are introducing the Magnite GEZA Special Edition with best-in-class contemporary features that enhances the Magnite’s value proposition for discerning customers”.

Nissan Magnite is one of the most successful compact SUVs in India. It boasts a 4-star rating GNCAP safety rating as well. The SUV was recently updated to meet the newest emission norms in India. It is manufactured in India and is exported to 15 global markets. In India, Nissan Magnite rivals Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Punch, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
