In terms of design, the Maserati GranTurismo retains its iconic look with a few minor tweaks. The oval grille is studded with the all-familiar ‘Trident’ logo but the headlamps are now sleeker. The coupe also gets L-shaped LED DRLs. In profile, the GranTurismo carries forward the classic glasshouse design that it is known for. There are three rectangular air vents on the front fender of the car. At the back, the LED tail lamps are connected by a chrome strip. The all-electric Folgore variant of the GranTurismo gets the same look apart from some EV-exclusive changes. The badging on the EV gets a dark copper finish and there are some blacked-out elements across its exterior.
The luxury coupe shares its engine with the Maserati MC20. This 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 engine produces a maximum power of 490hp and 600Nm of torque in the Modena trim. The Trofeo trim of the Maserati GranTurismo puts out 550hp and 650Nm. Both trims get All-Wheel Drive as the standard configuration. The Modena can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 3.9 seconds while the Trofeo can accomplish the same feat in just 3.5 seconds.
The ‘Folgore’ EV gets a 92.5 kWh battery pack that can power the electric coupe for 560km. The three 300 kW motors can generate a maximum power output of 760hp and 800Nm of torque. The Folgore can go from 0-100 kmph in just 2.7 seconds.

Upon launch, it will lock horns with the Bentley Continental GT. The Folgore will go up against the likes of the Porsche Taycan, Audi e-Tron GT, and Mercedes-AMG EQS 53.
