The Tata Tiago EV retains the design of its ICE counterpart, apart from a few minor tweaks. Firstly, the EV gets a closed-off grille, which is standard for most electric offerings. It also gets blue highlights across the body and headlamps, a unique detail that Tata reserves for its electric vehicles. The shut-off grille also receives the signature tri-arrow design on both ends. Along the sides, the alloy wheel design has also been refreshed for the EV. The Tata Tiago EV is available in five exterior colour options: Teal Blue, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Midnight Plum, and Tropical Mist.

The blue highlights along the exterior find their way inside the Tata Tiago EV as well. While the interior look has been retained from the ICE variant, the Tiago EV receives leatherette seating to give it a more premium feel. In terms of features, the EV receives fully automatic climate control (standard among all variants), projector headlamps, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, electric OVRMs with auto fold, push button start/stop, and an emergency puncture repair kit.

Buyers can use the ZConnect app to access 45 connected car features like Remote AC ON/OFF with temperature setting, Remote geo-fencing & car location tracking, Smartwatch connectivity, Remote vehicle health diagnostics, Real-time charge status, Dynamic charger locator, Driving Style analytics, and more. The Tiago EV is also equipped with an 8-speaker Harman infotainment system that comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Safety features include hill start and descent assist, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Moving on to the most anticipated feature of the EV, the electric hatchback will be made available in two battery pack options: 19.2kWh and 24kWh. The EV has been made available in 7 variants, with multiple battery pack and charging combinations. Both battery packs are rated IP67 for dust and water resistance. Tata claims a Modified Indian Driving Cycle (MIDC) range of 315 km for the 24kWh battery pack and 250km for the 19.2kWh battery.

The Tata Tiago EV features a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor which delivers a peak power output of 55kW and an instant full torque delivery of 114Nm. The electric hatchback can accelerate from 0-60kmph in 5.7 seconds. There are also two driving modes on offer – City mode and Sport mode – with further four levels of regen settings in each mode.
