Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Fronx, Jimny, and more offered with discounts of up to Rs 74,000

Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts of up to Rs 74,000 on the following cars – Grand Vitara, Fronx, Jimny, Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, and XL6. These discounts are available in the form of cash offers, exchange bonuses, and corporate benefits throughout the month of May. The ‘Velocity Edition’ accessory kit for Fronx is also up for grabs.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

Maximum Discount: Rs 74,000

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara gets a cash discount of Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus worth up to Rs 50,000, and corporate benefits of Rs 4,000. Maruti is also offering a 3-year extended warranty package for the SUV. The Delta (petrol) variant of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is available with discounts of up to Rs 44,000 while the Zeta (petrol) and Alpha (petrol) get Rs 59,000 off. The CNG and Sigma (petro) get only Rs 4,000 knocked off their prices.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is available in two engine variants – a 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine with mild hybrid technology and Toyota’s 1.5-litre TNGA petrol engine with a strong hybrid system. The former puts out 103hp and 137Nm, while the latter produces 92hp and 137Nm by itself and 115hp and 137Nm in a strong hybrid setup. The electric motor alone produces a maximum power of 80hp with 141Nm peak torque.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

Maximum Discount: Rs 58,000

Turbo-petrol variants of the Fronx get a cash discount of Rs 15,000, a Velocity Edition accessory kit worth Rs 30,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000, and corporate benefits of up to Rs 3,000. Petrol variants get Rs 23,000 off while the Fronx CNG is available with discounts of up to Rs 13,000.

The Fronx SUV is available in two powertrain options. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine can produce a maximum power output of 100hp and 147Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Also on offer is the 1.2-litre K Series naturally aspirated petrol engine that can produce a maximum power output of 90hp and 113Nm peak torque. This engine can also be mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny

Maximum Discount: Rs 50,000

Maruti’s lifestyle SUV, Jimny, gets discounts of up to Rs 50,000. The MY2023 units of the SUV can be had with discounts of up to Rs 1.50 lakh. The Jimny is powered by Maruti’s K15B petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 102hp and 130Nm peak torque. This engine can be paired with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. It also receives Suzuki’s All Grip Pro AWD with low-range transfer gear (4L mode). Maruti Suzuki Jimny offers a mileage of 16.94 kmpl on the manual variants and 16.39 kmpl on the automatic variants.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis

Maximum Discount: Rs 53,100

The Ignis gets discounts worth up to Rs 53,100 for the AMT variants and Rs 48,100 for the manual variants. The Ignis comes with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 83hp. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. It rivals the Citroen C3 in the market.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno

Maximum Discount: Rs 50,000

Petrol AT variants of the Baleno get discounts of up to Rs 50,000 this month. The manual variants get Rs 45,000 off. This figure is reduced to Rs 35,000 for the CNG variants. The Baleno is powered by an Advanced 1.2-litre K Series petrol engine and comes in a 5-speed manual and automatic option. Other features include a Heads Up Display (HUD), a touchscreen SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system with Surround Sense and more.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

Maximum Discount: Rs 48,000

The Ciaz gets a cash discount of Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000, and corporate benefits of up to Rs 3,000. The Ciaz is equipped with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 105hp. This engine can be mated with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. Maruti Suzuki Ciaz competes against the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Skoda Slavia, and Volkswagen Virtus.

Maruti Suzuki XL6

Maximum Discount: Rs 20,000

The XL6 only gets an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 this month. It is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 103hp. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
