Maruti Suzuki Eeco updated with 6 airbags

The Maruti Suzuki Eeco MPV has been updated with 6 airbags as a standard feature across all variants. Previously, the MPV offered only 2 airbags as a standard safety feature. Other Maruti offerings like the Alto K10, Wagon R, Brezza, and Celerio were also updated with 6 airbags recently. The Eeco is now priced at Rs 5.69 lakh, which makes it Rs 25,500 dearer than the previous version. Maruti has also dropped the 7-seat layout for the van.

2025 Maruti Suzuki Eeco: Everything you need to know

Here is the full price list of the Maruti Suzuki Eeco.

Variant Price
5-seat STD Rs 5.69 lakh
6-seat STD Rs 5.98 lakh
5-seat AC Rs 6.05 lakh
5-seat AC CNG Rs 6.95 lakh

Apart from 6 airbags, the Maruti Suzuki Eeco offers safety features like three-point seatbelts for all passengers, front seatbelt pretensioners and force limiters, seatbelt reminder for front seats, anti-lock brakes, an electronic stability program, electronic brakeforce distribution, and more.

The interior of the Maruti Suzuki Eeco has also been changed. Maruti has ditched the 7-seat layout for the van entirely, replacing it with 2 new 6-seat variants. These variants have 2 captain seats in the middle row. No changes have been made to the 5-seat variants. The van now features fabric upholstery (instead of PVC) and outboard reclining front seats. The boot of the 5-seat variants sports luggage retention. This limits the movement of the luggage in case of a collision.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco continues to be powered by the 1.2-litre petrol engine. It produces a maximum power output of 80hp. This engine is now E20-compliant. This means it can run on E20 fuel, which is a 20% ethanol and 80% petrol blend. The CNG variant of the van churns out 70hp. It offers a fuel efficiency of 27.05km/kg and is only available in a 5-seat layout. Meanwhile, the petrol engine offers a mileage of 20.20km/l.
