Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV unveiled with updated design, R-Dynamic models

Jaguar Land Rover India has unveiled the new Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV, which now comes with design changes across the board and also gets R-Dynamic models. Jaguar has also introduced two new colours for the I-Pace electric SUV for the first time – Eiger Grey and Carpathian Grey.

2023 Jaguar I-Pace: What’s new?

The new 2023 Jaguar I-Pace gets an enhanced design, which makes the electric SUV even more distinctive. I-Pace’s cab-forward profile, short overhangs and taut, muscular haunches give it a unique look, setting the SUV apart from its competition. The smooth Atlas Grey front grille replaces the gloss black lozenge pattern on the outgoing model. The new grille also sports the black and silver Jaguar badge.

The styling changes don’t just stop there as the front bumper finishers, lower door finishers and rear diffuser are now body-colour instead of Gloss Black. Combined with the grille, these new design changes give the SUV a cleaner look than its predecessor. Along the sides, all wheels on the I-Pace are now diamond-turned with a Gloss Dark Grey contrast finish which works well with the carbon fibre inserts. The Gloss Black finish has also been applied to the grille surround, window surrounds, door mirror caps and rear badges.

Customers can also specify satin paints for the first time as the Jaguar I-Pace is now offered in Eiger Grey and Carpathian Grey paint schemes. Customers can now also opt for a contrasting panoramic roof, which was previously body coloured. Inside, the Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV gets the Pivi Pro infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The I-Pace model range now comprises R-Dynamic S, R-Dynamic SE and R-Dynamic HSE.

2023 Jaguar I-Pace: What’s new?

Indian customers will get an 11kW AC wall-mounted charger complementary with the 24MY I-Pace. This charger can fully charge the electric SUV in almost 9 hours. The 7kW charger can accomplish the same feat in 30 hours. The 90kWh battery pack offers a driving range of up to 470km.

We’ve delivered exactly that, and now it’s our latest model to benefit from our approach of offering more curated, richer specifications.”

Conclusion 

The dual electric motor on the Jaguar I-Pace can accelerate the vehicle from 0-100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds. While there are no direct price rivals to the I-Pace, it will rival other electric SUVs like the Volvo XC40 Recharge and Mercedes EQB.
