Hyundai Venue N Line Revealed, Bookings Open

After adding the N Line to the i20 last year, Hyundai has now revealed the Hyundai Venue N Line ahead of its launch on September 6. The Hyundai Venue had been refreshed with a facelift model earlier in July. The Hyundai Venue N Line will be made available in two variants – N6 and N8 and will sit on top of the Venue lineup. Bookings for the Hyundai Venue N Line are now open at a token amount of Rs 21,000. Buyers can book the Venue N Line online or through Hyundai Signature dealerships across the country.

Hyundai Venue N Line: What’s new

The Venue N Line comes with significant cosmetic changes, giving it a sportier look. The ‘N Line’ branding will be visible across the front fender, grille, and tailgate. On top of that, the new model will receive red accents at the bottom of the front and rear bumpers, roof rails, and front brake callipers. This will give the Venue a sporty look, something that is reserved for the N Line. The N Line also receives newly designed alloy wheels and a dual-tip exhaust.

Things remain unchanged on the inside, as the Venue N Line carries forward the same interiors as the existing lineup. The only minor difference is the presence of the N Line branding and some red detailing along with an all-black theme. The N8 variant will receive an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes equipped with connected car tech like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets a powered driver’s seat and a Bose sound system. This will make N8 the top-spec variant in the entire Venue lineup.

Under the hood, the Hyundai Venue N Line will be powered by the same 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine found in the existing lineup. This engine produces a maximum power of 118bhp and 172Nm peak torque. It will be made available in a DCT gearbox as opposed to the i20 N Line which comes in iMT and DCT options.

Prices for the Hyundai Venue N Line will be revealed upon its launch on September 6. We expect it to cost Rs 1-2 lakh more than the current Venue versions. Upon launch, the Hyundai Venue N Line will rival Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
