Maruti has added a new Star Edition for its compact MPV. Priced at Rs 20,000, the accessory pack is available with Standard, Standard AC, and Standard AC CNG variants of the Maruti Eeco. These variants are priced between Rs 5.41 lakh and Rs 6.56 lakh. The Star Edition includes 18 exterior and interior accessories that are worth Rs 37,000 individually.

When it comes to exterior upgrades, the Star Edition of the Maruti Eeco gets halogen fog lamps up front, silver wheel covers, mud flaps, and door visors along the sides, and a roof-mounted spoiler.
The cosmetics get a lift with a star graphic on the rear fender and chrome highlights on the grille strips, headlight garnish, fog lamps, taillamps, number plate, and Eeco badging on the tailgate. The Glistening Grey and Brisk Blue models get body-coloured bumpers. The Bluish Black, Silky Silver, and Solid White colour variants retain the black bumpers from the regular model.
Interior upgrades on the Martui Eeco Star Edition include leatherette seating, leatherette steering wheel cover, door sill guards, black plastic mats, and faux wooden trims on the dashboard. The regular variants use fabric upholstery. No instrumentation or feature upgrades have been made on the MPV. Last year, it was updated to offer 6 airbags as a standard safety feature across all variants. Other safety features include three-point seatbelts for all passengers, front seatbelt pretensioners and force limiters, seatbelt reminder for front seats, anti-lock brakes, an electronic stability program, electronic brakeforce distribution, and more.
Things remain unchanged under the hood of the Maruti Eeco. It continues to be powered by the 1.2-litre petrol engine. This E20-compliant engine produces a maximum power output of 80hp. The CNG variant of the van churns out 70hp. It offers a fuel efficiency of 27.05km/kg and is only available in a 5-seat layout. Meanwhile, the petrol engine offers a mileage of 20.20km/l.
