Hyundai Tucson: Design, Features and more

Hyundai Tucson has been designed keeping Hyundai’s ‘Sensual Sportiness’ philosophy in mind. The front end of the new Tucson features a dark chrome grille with integrated LED DRLs. The newly designed front bumper is fitted with LED headlamps. The side profile reveals new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, the Hyundai Tucson gets dual T-shaped LED tail lights that are connected by a light bar running across the boot lid.

Inside, the new Hyundai Tucson is radically different from its predecessor. The physical controls have been replaced with touch controls, and the overall design seems inspired by the Creta. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is a clear upgrade over the outgoing model as well. On top of that, the new Hyundai Tucson gets a fully digital instrument cluster, multi-terrain modes, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, wireless charging, and smartphone connectivity. Buyers will also be pleased to know that the new Tucson comes with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).

Hyundai Tucson will be made available in both petrol and diesel engines. The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces a maximum power of 154hp and 192Nm torque. This petrol engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2.0-litre diesel engine produces a maximum power of 184hp and 416Nm torque. The diesel engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The higher diesel variants will also get a 4-wheel drive.
