KTM 250 Duke gets a year-end discount worth Rs 20,000

KTM India is offering the 250 Duke with a year-end discount of Rs 20,000. The motorbike is now priced at Rs 2.25 lakh. All three colour variants of the KTM 250 Duke are eligible for this discount. Since this is a year-end discount, it will expire at the end of December. Previously, the street fighter was priced at Rs 2.45 lakh. Recently, KTM updated the motorbike with a TFT display.

KTM 250 Duke: Discounts on all three colour variants

The KTM 250 Duke is available in 3 colour options – Dark Galvano, Electric Orange, and Atlantic Blue. All three colour variants are available with a Rs 20,000 discount. The 250 Duke is sandwiched between the 200 Duke and 390 Duke in KTM India’s product catalogue.

Recently, the motorbike was updated with 390 Duke’s 5-inch TFT display, LED headlights, and LED DRLs. KTM also added two new ride modes to the 250 Duke – Street and Track. The TFT display supports smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth support, and turn-by-turn navigation. This display is a welcome change over the motorbike’s previous black-and-white unit.

KTM 250 Duke is powered by a 249cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, engine. This engine generates a maximum power output of 31hp at 9,250rpm and 25Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. A slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter are offered as standard features on the motorbike. The motorbike is equipped with single-disc brakes on the front and rear wheels. It also rocks dual-channel ABS. The 17-inch alloy wheels carry 110/70 and 150/60 at the front and the back respectively. Suspension duties are handled by WP Apex USD telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear.

In other news, KTM will soon launch the new 390 Adventure in India. The motorbike has been spotted testing on Indian roads multiple times this year and is expected to launch in the first half of 2025. The 390 Enduro and 390 SMC may also make their way to India sometime next year.

Conclusion

As mentioned earlier, this discount will expire at the end of the month or until the eligible stock lasts. At the price of Rs 2.25 lakh, the KTM 250 Duke is still Rs 8,000 more expensive than its closest rival – the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 (priced at Rs 2.33 lakh). Both motorbikes are powered by the same engine but the 250 Duke’s feature and equipment list give it the edge over its primary competitor. The motorbike also rivals the likes of the Bajaj Dominar 250 (prices start at Rs 1.85 lakh) and Suzuki Gixxer 250 (prices start at Rs 1.82 lakh).
