Honda Dio Sports: What’s new?

With Dio Sports, Honda seeks to make the scooter more marketable to a younger audience. The graphics along the body panels are snappier than the ones on the regular Dio. Dio Sports comes in two new colour schemes as well – Strontium Silver Metallic with Black and Sports Red with Black. These colour schemes will be available on both variants. The rear cushion spring comes in red colour on Dio Sports limited edition. The Deluxe variants receive five-spoke alloy wheels.

Apart from the alloy wheels, there are no mechanical changes on the Honda Dio Sports edition. It will be powered by the same 110cc single-cylinder petrol engine found on the regular Dio. This engine can produce 7.65 bhp power and a maximum torque of 9Nm. Like the regular model, Honda Dio Sports will be offered with a dual function switch, an external fuel lid, and a side stand indicator. On top of that, it will also receive a combi brake system (CBS) and a 3-Step Eco Indicator for better fuel efficiency. It will also come with a LED headlamp and digital instrument cluster.
