TVS Motor India has crossed the 10 lakh sales landmark for the Raider 125. It took the auto company just 3 years to achieve this milestone. The TVS Raider 125 was launched in September 2021 at a starting price of Rs 77,500. In 2022, TVS updated the motorbike with SmartXonnect and a TFT cluster. TVS has sold a total of 10,07,514 units of the Raider 125 so far.

TVS Raider 125: A monumental success
The TVS Raider 125 has been a consistent performer for the two-wheeler brand since its launch in India. It is currently TVS’ highest 125cc motorbike, overtaking the Apache in FY2024. In the entire TVS catalogue, the Raider 125 was ranked third in sales in FY2024, behind Juipiter and XL. The Raider sold a total of 4,78,443 units in FY2024, taking the cumulative sales to 7,87,059. It took the motorbike just six months in FY2025 to reach the 10 lakh sales landmark.
The TVS Raider 125 is powered by a 124.8cc, three-valve, air-cooled engine. The powertrain can put up 11.4hp of power at 7,500rpm and 11.2Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox which allows the bike to reach a top speed of 99kmph claimed by the company. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and a 5-step adjustable monoshock fork. Along with the sporty muscular looks, the TVS Raider 125 claims to provide a mileage of 67 kmpl. There are two ride modes on offer – Power and Eco.
The TVS Raider 125 is equipped with a 5-inch TFT cluster. It enables the rider to pair their smartphone with the motorbike, allowing them to view notifications and follow the navigation on the dash. Smartphone connectivity is further enhanced by the TVS SmartXonnect app. This app allows riders to view the riding analytics and help them evaluate their ride and style. On top of that, it also offers voice and navigation assist, incoming call feature, image transfer options and ride reports.

Prices for the TVS Raider 125 currently start at Rs 85,000 and go up to Rs 1.05 lakh. It is one of the cheapest 125cc motorbikes to come with a TFT cluster and connected features. The motorbike is available in two colour options – black and yellow. It primarily rivals the Hero Glamour XTEC in India.
