Bajaj Pulsar N150: What’s on offer?

The Bajaj Pulsar N150 takes design cues from its elder sibling, the N160. It gets the latter’s projector LED headlamp and a muscular fuel tank design. At the back, the N150 flaunts a sleeker design but gets a wider rear tyre than the P150. The motorbike is available in three colour options – Racing Red, Ebony Black, and Metallic Pearl White. The graphics on the N150’s body have been updated to look sharper and fiercer.

Mechanically, the Bajaj Pulsar N150 retains the 149.68cc four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from the P150. This engine can generate a maximum power output of 14hp and 13Nm of torque. Talking about the suspension, the sporty commuter gets telescopic units at the front and a mono-shock unit at the back. The front wheel is equipped with a 240mm disc brake with single-channel ABS. The rear wheel gets a 130mm drum unit.

The Bajaj Pulsar N150 gets an updated digital instrument cluster as well, borrowing the unit that does duty on the N160. There is also a very handy USB port on the fuel tank. Bajaj claims a fuel efficiency of 45-50kmpl for the N150. The bike’s mileage will be similar to what the P150 offered.

Conclusion

Bajaj Pulsar N150 is available in a single variant. The motorbike giant is expecting a boost in sales due to the updated design, which will make the N150 more appealing than the P150 to newer buyers. The Bajaj Pulsar N150 is a direct rival to the Yamaha FZ S V3.
