Comparison: Kia Carens vs Alcazar

The Alcazar has been one of the best selling SUVs from Hyundai. The car is a 6/7 seater SUV that offers great comfort and trust of Hyundai, but recently Kia unveiled the new car The Carens, which they like to call MV.

However, the Carens does look similar to an SUV with its bold stance like that of an SUV. Let us see today how the new Carens stand up against Alcazar.

Design and dimensions

Kia did not reveal the official dimensions of the Carens, but according to sources, the dimensions of the car are 4,540mm in length, 1,800mm in width, 1,700mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,780mm.

And the dimension of the Alcazar has a 4,500 mm Length x 1,790 mm Weight x 1,675 mm Height.

Engine

Kia Carens has not revealed any engine specifications officially. However, according to sources, it will be having a Petrol Engine on offer with a 1,498 cc engine. On the other hand, people going for Alcazar will be having the option to go for a petrol or a diesel car. The Diesel engine of Alcaazar is 1,493 cc while the Petrol engine is 1,999 cc. It will be available with Automatic & Manual transmission for an easy and comforting driving experience.

Features

The Carens will come equipped with three different driving modes It will also offer an 8 speaker system by Bose, connected car technology, and front ventilated seats, the car will also get an electronic sunroof. The new car will be equipped with 2 front airbags and 2 airbags on either side of the front and back of the car, making a total of 6 airbags. 6 airbags is going to be a standard feature offered across all the variants of the car.

Alcazar will be having a Tachometer, Electronic Multi-Tripmeter, Leather Seats, Fabric Upholstery, Leather Steering Wheel, Leather wrap gear-shift selector, Glove Compartment

Digital Clock, Digital Odometer and you name it. This car has all the features for an amazing drive experience.

Price

Kia carens is expected to launch in India with a price range of Rs 15,00,000 in the mid of 2022. Whereas the Alcazar will be around INR 16,30,000 for its base variant. Both ex showroom.
