Volkswagen Autofest 2025 goes live, exchange and loyalty rewards offered

Volkswagen India has brought back its ‘Autofest’ programme. As a part of Volkswagen Autofest 2025, buyers can upgrade their current vehicles by making use of the exchange and loyalty rewards offered by the automaker. These offers are available on the Virtus sedan and Taigun SUV. The Autofest Mega Carnival will conclude on July 31.

Volkswagen Autofest 2025: Upgrade your ride

Buyers can claim benefits of up to Rs 2.50 lakh on the Taigun and Rs 1.70 lakh on the Virtus. Additionally, the automaker is offering exchange and loyalty benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh. Also on offer are special benefits on the Service Value Package. Buyers can get their vehicles evaluated at Volkswagen dealerships and test-drive other cars.

Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus come in two engine options. The 1.5-litre TSI generates a maximum power output of 150hp and 250Nm of peak torque. This engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG. Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre TSI engine produces a maximum power output of 115hp and 178Nm of peak torque. It can be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Volkswagen Virtus completed its 3rd year anniversary in India last month. Since its launch, the sedan has garnered over 60,000 sales in the country. Over 80,000 units of the Virtus have been exported to foreign markets. The sedan is due for a facelift. It might be refreshed by the end of the year. The Taigun was launched in India in September 2021. It breezed past the 1 lakh sales landmark in September 2024.

Final Thoughts

Prices for the Volkswagen Virtus start at Rs 11.56 lakh and go up to Rs 19.40 lakh. It rivals the Honda CityHyundai Verna, and Skoda Slavia. Meanwhile, the Taigun is priced between Rs 11.80 lakh and Rs 19.83 lakh. It rivals the Hyundai CretaHonda ElevateKia SeltosCitroen C3 AircrossToyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
