Tata Motors has updated the Tiago NRG hatchback with a few cosmetic tweaks and new features. The entry-level XT variant of the Tata Tiago NRG has also been removed from its lineup. The XZ variant now serves as the new entry-level variant for the hatchback. Prices for the Tiago NRG start at Rs 7.20 lakh and go up to Rs 8.75 lakh. It is available in petrol and CNG powertrains.

The 2025 Tata Tiago NRG gets some cosmetic tweaks. The front and rear skid plates are now silver while the design of the bumpers and 15-inch steel wheels gets a minor facelift. The hatchback also gets black plastic body cladding and black roof rails. The NRG badging can be found on the tailgate.
Inside, the 2025 Tata Tiago NRG gets a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, auto headlights and wipers, a rear camera, and more features from the XZ variant. It lacks fog lamps, LED DRLs, and automatic climate control. The cabin of the NRG edition has an all-black finish.
The Tata Tiago NRG is available in 2 powertrain options. The 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine can produce a maximum power of 83hp and 113Nm torque. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. In a CNG configuration, this engine generates a maximum power output of 73hp and 95Nm of torque. The CNG engine can also be mated to a manual or automatic transmission. It delivers a mileage of 26.49 km/kg.

The 2025 Tata Tiago NRG demands a premium of Rs 30,000 over its equivalent Tiago variants. The regular lineup of the hatchback starts at Rs 5 lakh and goes up to Rs 8.45 lakh. The all-electric version of the hatchback is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh – making it one of the most affordable EVs in India right now. Being a crossover hatchback, the Tiago NRG has no real rivals in India. However, it faces some competition from the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, and Maruti Suzuki Celerio.Â
