Tata Punch CNG utilises the automaker’s dual-cylinder setup for its fuel tanks. The two cylinders are housed underneath the boot floor. Each cylinder has a storage capacity of 30 litres. This frees up a lot of storage space. The CNG-powered SUV has a boot space capacity of 210 litres.

Powering the Tata Punch CNG is the 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine that is also found in the petrol variant. This engine produces a maximum power output of 77hp and 97Nm of torque in a CNG setup. In a petrol configuration, this engine puts out 86hp and 113Nm. Punch CNG will only be offered in a 5-speed manual transmission.
