Tata Motors has upgraded the touchscreen infotainment system on the top variant of its flagship electric SUV, Tata Nexon EV Max. The new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system first made an appearance on the Dark Edition of Tata Nexon EV Max. Now, it has been added to the top-spec XZ+ LUX variant of the regular model.

Following the inclusion of a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the XZ+ LUX variant of Tata Nexon EV Max will now cost Rs 18.79 lakh. The new Harmon HD display comes with smartphone connectivity facilitated by Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The console can register more than 180 voice commands in six languages – English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, and Marathi.
Tata Nexon EV Max also offers Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, ventilated front seats, an air purifier with AQI display, wireless charging, cruise control, auto-dimming IVRM, an electric sunroof, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, automatic temperature control, cooled glovebox, and more. No changes have been made to the exterior design or the interior layout.
Earlier this year, Tata updated the driving range of Nexon EV Max. The electric SUV now offers a range of 453km on a single charge, which is an improvement of 16km. The 40.5kWh battery pack on Nexon EV Max can be charged by a 3.3 kW home AC charger, a 7.2 kW home AC fast wall box charger, a 15A charger, and a DC fast charger.

Tata also offers a special ‘Dark’ edition for the Nexon EV Max. This special edition is priced at Rs 19.04 lakh. It gets an all-black theme with blue highlights along the exterior as well as the interior. Tata Nexon is one of the most successful EVs in the Indian market. It rivals Mahindra XUV400, MG ZS EV, and Hyundai Kona EV.
