Tata Motors has introduced a new ‘Dark Edition’ for the Nexon EV Max. The Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition has been priced at Rs 19.04 lakh and will be based on the XZ+ Lux trim. With the 7.2 kW AC Wall box charger this electric SUV will cost Rs 19.54 lakh. The Dark Edition for Nexon EV will come with a few feature upgrades and adorn some cosmetic highlights.

Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition: All the new features explained

In terms of cosmetic upgrades, the new Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition gets the signature Midnight Black coloured body. You also get Charcoal Grey alloy wheels, Satin Black humanity line, projector headlamps with tri-arrow DRLs, and tri-arrow LED tail lamps. Exclusive ‘Dark’ branding can be found on the fender. The SUV also gets a shark fin antenna and roof rails.

The ‘Dark’ theme makes its way inside the Tata Nexon EV Max as well, with a glossy piano black dashboard and tri-arrow elements. The leatherette door trims and seat upholstery are also dark-themed. EV-exclusive blue stitching can be found on the seat upholstery and the leatherette fabric on the steering wheel. The control knob gets a jewelled finish as well.

The Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition will be the first in the lineup to boast a 10.25-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system. This infotainment comes with an HD display, connectivity features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a new theme. 180+ voice commands in six different languages can also be found here.

Other features include Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, ventilated front seats, an air purifier with AQI display, wireless charging, cruise control, auto-dimming IVRM, an electric sunroof, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, automatic temperature control, cooled glovebox, and more.

There are no mechanical changes on the Dark Edition for Nexon EV Max. The electric SUV continues to offer a driving range of 453 km with its 40.5 kWh battery pack. Charging options include a 3.3 kW home AC charger, a 7.2 kW home AC fast wall box charger, a 15A charger, and DC fast charging.
