Tata Motors announces discounts of up to Rs 75,000 for Safari, Harrier, Altroz and more

Tata Motors has announced special discounts of up to Rs 75,000 on Tata Safari, Harrier, Altroz, and Tiago. These discounts are up for grabs throughout the month of February. The CNG variants of Tigor and Tiago also get a price cut. The discounts come in the form of cash benefits and exchange bonuses. The unsold MY2022 units of these cars receive a greater discount. No discounts have been offered on Tata’s EV lineup.

Tata Safari

Maximum Discount: Rs 75,000

Buyers can avail of a discount of up to Rs 75,000 on the Tata Safari. This discount is only being offered on the unsold MY2022 stock of the Safari. The MY2023 units get a total discount of Rs 35,000 which includes a cash benefit of Rs 10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. Tata Safari is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that churns out a maximum power of 170hp and 350Nm peak torque. Recently, Tata also added the XMS and XMAS variants to Safari’s lineup.

Tata Harrier

Maximum Discount: Rs 75,000

Tata Motors is offering a total discount of Rs 75,000 on unsold MY2022 units of the Harrier. These discounts are available on selected variants. Meanwhile, all variants of the MY2023 stock of the Harrier get a total discount of Rs 35,000 which comes in the form of cash benefits worth Rs 10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. Tata Harrier and Tata Safari are powered by the same engine and underpinned by the same platform. Like the Safari, Tata also added the XMS and XMAS variants to Tata Harrier as well.

Tata Altroz

Maximum Discount: Rs 35,000

The unsold MY2022 units of the diesel variants of Altroz get a total discount of Rs 35,000. The petrol variants get a total discount of Rs 20,000. Meanwhile, the MY2022 units of the diesel variants of Altroz get a total discount of Rs 25,000 while the petrol variants get Rs 10,000 off. Tata Altroz is one of the most mechanically versatile cars produced by Tata, with diesel, petrol, and CNG powertrain options.

Tata Tiago

Maximum Discount: Rs 40,000

Unsold MY2022 units of the CNG and petrol variants of Tiago get a price cut of Rs 40,000. The new units get a discount of Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 on the petrol and CNG variants respectively. Powering the Tiago is a 1.2-litre petrol engine that puts out 86hp. Buyers also get the option of a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

Tata Tigor

Maximum Discount: Rs 35,000

Tata Tigor

Unsold units of the MY2022 Tigor CNG get a total discount of Rs 35,000 which comes in the form of Rs 20,000 in cash benefits and Rs 15,000 in exchange bonuses. The MY2023 units of Tigor Petrol get Rs 20,000 off while the CNG units get Rs 25,000 off. Tigor is powered by the same engine as Tiago. The compact sedan rivals the popular Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire.

Conclusion

These discounts will be made available throughout the month of February, but the amount may vary across different dealerships. In other news, Tata Motors recently slashed the prices of the Nexon EV by Rs 85,000. The Nexon EV lineup now starts at Rs 14.49 lakh, rivalling Mahindra XUV400.
