New Tata Altroz DCA 2022 Launched In India: With Machine Learning And More

Tata Motors, India’s leading automotive brand, launched today its all-new Altroz Dual Clutch Automatic (DCA). The Tata Altroz DCA 2022 is a dual-clutch transmission designed especially for Indian consumers and has 45 patents registered for its innovative technology. It is said to be the world’s first DCT with a planetary gear system. The premium hatchback is equipped with several segment-first features like Machine learning, self-healing mechanism, auto-parking lock and much more.

Keeping its brand promise of New Forever, the all-new Tata Altroz DCA 2022 comes with several unique features that are inspired by the diverse driving conditions in India. It promises to set ‘Gold Standards in Automatics’ and offer a seamless driving experience to its customers. It is reportedly the second car in the segment to offer the DCT technology after the Hyundai i20. Other competitors that it will be seen competing against include Jazz CVT, Volkswagen Polo AT and the all-new Maruti Suzuki Baleno.

Some of its segment-first features that the new hatchback from Tata will be sporting include a wet clutch with active cooling technology, shift by wire technology, self-healing mechanism and auto park lock. Its wet clutch technology is claimed to be best suited for hot weather conditions and stop and go traffic. Its active cooling feature monitors and takes corrective actions upon the slightest variation from the ideal conditions. Its machine learning technology compares the car’s performance with the ideal parameters and adjusts the transmission as per driving conditions. It also minimises jerks or shocks to provide a smooth driving experience.

In case you are worried about driving through dusty roads, the Altroz DCA takes care of that too through its self-healing mechanism that clears out dust, thus ensuring the longevity of the transmission. Its intelligent auto-lock feature detects the absence of the driver by monitoring the seatbelt, door lock, pedal and engine activity, and thus automatically engages the park mode if the driver forgets and steps out of the car. Some more of its premium features include premium leatherette seats, auto headlamps, 7-inch touchscreen, 7-inch TFT digital cluster, rear ac vents, iRA connected car technology and much more.
