2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno launched in India: All The Details Revealed

A video was uploaded today leaking the interiors of the new Maruti Baleno 2022 Alpha ahead of its launch scheduled for today in India. Among the features that were revealed include a Heads Up Display (HUD), touchscreen SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system with Surround Sense and more. The car was finally revealed by Maruti Suzuki India at its launch today. 

Nexa’s flagship product, the bold Baleno was first launched in October 2015. The premium hatchback Maruti Baleno 2022 now comes with enhanced features like a 360-degree view camera to instil a sense of power through vision. It includes a package of 20+ safety features like 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Hill-Hold Assist and much more. It will sport a modern infotainment system with SmartPlay Pro+ having Surround Sense, which is powered by ARKAMYS. The new SmartPlay Pro+ comes with a 9-inch High Definition (HD) display with Advance Voice Assist to add further convenience to the customer. 

The Suzuki Connect application that is offered with the new age Baleno will now connect your smartphone, tab or other devices with your Baleno into a single unit, enabling you with control of various features within the Baleno remotely, with the touch of a button.

Among the features of the new Maruti Baleno 2022 which have received an uplift include are the new LED lamps, front grilles, alloy wheels and more. At a first glance, you can notice its NEXTre’ LED DRLs and its signature NEXWave Front Grille offering a wider stance to the vehicle. The new age Baleno has a dynamic stance, strong shoulder and a 3D form which further accentuate its boldness. The same cues have been extended to its rear design including its rear lamps as well as its precision-cut alloy wheels. 

One of the cool additions that the 2022 Baleno will be seen sporting is its HUD. Being one of its segment-first features, the HUD offers all vital information to the driver like speed, revs, fuel efficiency, temperature and air-flow control, without the driver needing to take his/her eyes off the road.

The Maruti Baleno 2022 Alpha is powered by an Advanced 1.2L K Series petrol engine enabled with idle start/stop technology which contributes to lower emissions. Its newly engineered suspension system will ensure to offer a smooth ride. Some more features that you would love to flaunt include its rear AC vents, sliding armrest at the centre and rear fast charging AC type USB ports. 

For the new age Baleno, 6 premium colour choices are being offered by Nexa namely, NEXA Blue, Luxe Beige, Grandeur Grey, Arctic White, Splendid Silver and Opulent Red. It will be offered in 4 trims namely, Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. According to the pricing revealed at its India launch today, its price starts at Rs 6.35 lakhs.
