Nissan India has hiked the prices of its compact SUV in India. The Nissan Magnite facelift was launched in India in October 2024 at an introductory starting price of Rs 5.99 lakh. This introductory offer was valid for the first 10,000 bookings. The automaker has now hiked the prices for the SUV by up to Rs 22,000, depending on the variant.

The NA Petrol MT N-Connecta gets the least price hike – Rs 8,000. Meanwhile, prices for the Turbo Petrol CVT variants of Tekna and Tekna+ trims have gone up the most – Rs 22,000.
The Nissan Magnite facelift has retained the powertrain of the outgoing model. The SUV is available in 2 engine options. The 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 72hp and 96Nm of torque. This engine can be linked to a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 100hp and 160Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox.
In terms of features, the Nissan Magnite facelift rocks an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 3D sound by Arkamys, cruise control, a global smart key with remote engine start, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, and more. Buyers can also opt for a unique tech pack with features like a dashcam, wireless charger, premium speakers (JBL powered by Harman), puddle lamps and LED scuff plates.

Nissan crossed the 10,000 bookings mark for the Magnite facelift last month. The automaker recorded 91,184 sales in CY2024, selling 11,676 units in December 2024 alone. The Magnite rivals the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Punch, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza in India.
