Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift and Kuro Edition: What’s new?
Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift brings the highly requested AMT gearbox to the SUV’s lineup. This gearbox will be mated to the 1.0-litre petrol engine. The automaker has made the AMT gearbox available across all four variants of the Magnite – XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium. Buyers can now choose between two gearbox options for the Magnite – CVT and AMT.
The Kuro Edition of the Nissan Magnite gets an all-black theme for the exterior as well as the interior. The all-black treatment has been extended to the grille, skid plate, roof rails, alloy wheels, and headlamps. The special edition of the SUV also gets ‘Kuro’ branding on its body. Inside, the Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition gets a gloss black instrument panel, black interior accents, and black door trim inserts. It also gets features like a 360-degree camera, a centre control armrest with rear AC, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, wireless charging, and more. Safety features include ESP, TCS, HSA, and TPMS. The Kuro Edition is only available for the XV trim of the SUV.
Nissan Magnite is available in two powertrain options. The 1.0-litre petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 72hp and 96Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine churns out a peak power output of 100hp and 160Nm of torque. As mentioned earlier, the SUV gets CVT and AMT gearboxes as transmission options.

In India, Nissan Magnite rivals the likes of Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Punch, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
