Mahindra opened the bookings for the new XUV 3XO today. Within an hour of the commencement of the booking window, the automaker received over 50,000 bookings for the SUV. The Mahindra XUV 3XO is a facelifted version of the XUV300. It was launched last month at a starting price of Rs 7.49 lakh. Mahindra says that over 10,000 units of the XUV 3XO have already been produced. The automaker is aiming to produce 9,000 units of the SUV per month. Deliveries for the XUV 3XO will start rolling out on May 26.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: A grand reception

The booking window for the Mahindra XUV 3XO was opened at 10 am on May 15, 2024. Within the first 10 minutes alone, Mahindra received 27,000 bookings for the compact SUV. After the first 60 minutes, the figure had crossed 50,000. Mahindra was anticipating this response, which is why it has already produced 10,000 units of the SUV.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: What’s on offer?

The Mahindra XUV 3XO gets crucial changes to its exterior in the form of edgy headlamps and DRLs, a segmented grille, and an upright nose. The dark chrome alloy wheels stand out in the SUV’s profile. At the back, the new tail lamps are connected by a light bar.

Mahindra has borrowed the interior layout of the XUV400 for the XUV 3XO. The compact SUV is studded with instrumentation and features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, another 10.25-inch screen for the digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, a 7-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system, wireless charging, a Level 2 ADAS package and more.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: What’s on offer?

Under the hood, the Mahindra XUV 3XO gets 3 engine options. The 1.2-litre 3-cylinder mStallion direct-injection turbo-petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 131hp and 230Nm torque. The 1.2-litre turbo petrol puts out 110hp. The 1.5-litre diesel engine generates a power output of 117hp. These engines can be mated to manual and AMT gearboxes.
