Mahindra has not massively changed the design of the original Scorpio. The Scorpio Classic receives a couple of tweaks on the exterior, like a new grille with chrome slats and redesigned LED DRLs and headlamps. The new Mahindra ‘twin peaks’ logo has also been incorporated into the Scorpio Classic. The higher variants will also get 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels while the base trims come with standard steel wheels.

Inside, the Mahindra Scorpio Classic sports a new dual-tone cabin theme and a larger infotainment screen. The new Mahindra logo can also be found studded at the centre of the steering. The SUV will also receive dual front airbags and reverse parking sensors.

Under the hood, Mahindra will retain the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine found in the previous iteration. This engine can produce a maximum power of 137hp and 300Nm torque. This engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Unlike the Scorpio N, the Scorpio Classic will not come with a 4-wheel drive or an automatic gearbox.
